It is with great excitement that we announce the SKWCMAA Wing Chun China Trip 2027 — a journey to Hong Kong, Foshan, and Macau. This is more than a trip. It is a chance to walk the roots of Wing Chun, train together, and experience the living heritage of our art as one family.

About the trip
Over eleven days we travel through the places where Wing Chun and its story took shape. We visit Ip Man's resting place in Fanling, the Hong Kong Ving Tsun Athletic Association, and the Ip Man Memorial Hall and Ancestral Temple in Foshan. Alongside the training there are cultural visits, temples, and time to explore — a balance of practice, history, and shared experience.
The trip is led by Grandmaster Samuel Kwok, keeping us connected to the lineage at every step.
Training
Wing Chun training and exchange sessions take place throughout the journey, in Hong Kong and Macau, with further sessions arranged during the Foshan segment. Training together in these surroundings is an experience that stays with you long after the trip ends.

This trip crosses three separate immigration zones — Hong Kong, Mainland China (Foshan), and Macau. A valid China visa is required for the Foshan segment, and your passport should be valid for at least six months beyond the travel dates. We recommend starting on your visa and travel insurance early.
